About Skyview Elementary

Skyview Elementary Team is committed to serving the students, parents, staff and the public with a positive “can-do” attitude. We are here to help and serve our community.

Skyview Elementary is a community of learners with a student body of approximately 722 students. Our educational program starts at Transitional Kinder and students leave us upon the completion of grade 6. In addition, Sky View Elementary also offers a Dual Language Immersion program in Spanish, currently for grades K-6th grade. The Skyview Team is highly committed to excellence and success for all students.

Skyview Elementary is a Gold Ribbon and Title I Academic Achievement School. The California Gold Ribbon is awarded to schools based on several factors. In 2016, only 33 schools in Riverside County were given the award out of 507 public schools. Sky View Elementary was the first school in the Perris Elementary School District to earn the award. In addition, Skyview Elementary has received the California Department of Education Civic Learning Award for two consecutive years for engaging students in civic learning and service projects. Lastly, Skyview Elementary received platinum (2023) and gold (2022) for PBIS implementation in California.

Sky View Elementary School continues to demonstrate improvement. The school hosts many family events, such as math, literacy, DLI, and science events for parents and students to increase family involvement, which increases enrichment and engagement. Sky View is an AVID Elementary School honored with the Riverside County Office of Education Models of Academic Excellence and Innovation Award for its integration of technology and learning.
